1. About these terms
These terms describe use of the CuriSnap website and hosted Studio. Service operator: CuriSnap. Contact: support@curisnap.app.
2. What CuriSnap provides
CuriSnap offers free access and paid memberships. Public guides are free, and free signed-in accounts include 10 successful replies from the antiques expert; the other four experts require membership. Monthly membership costs USD $12.99 per month and includes unlimited chat with all five AI experts plus 140 credits per paid month. Annual membership costs USD $69.99 per year and releases 120 credits each month of the paid year (1,440 total). A complete report, including global research, uses 40 credits. Promotional copy uses 4 credits; images start at 3 credits each, and video pricing is shown before generation. Seller tools require an active membership. Member expert chat does not use credits. Memberships renew automatically until canceled. Taxes, if applicable, are shown at checkout.
3. Research, not authentication or a formal appraisal
AI may misunderstand an image, overlook a repair, misread an inscription, or generate an incorrect explanation. A photo does not establish authenticity, ownership, lawful provenance, age, first-edition status, certified condition, precious-metal purity, jade composition or gemstone treatment. Reports are research assistance, not certificates or professional advice. No numerical price range is supplied by the live workflow without verified comparable-sale evidence. Seek an appropriately qualified professional for purchases, sales, insurance, tax, estate or other consequential decisions. Do not perform destructive testing or cleaning based on an AI suggestion.
4. Accounts and access
Use a Google account or email address you are authorized to use. Email sign-in requires a one-time code. Verified sign-ins for the same email can be linked to make existing collections accessible together; some Google accounts require an additional email verification. Keep access to your email account secure. Do not share passwords or API keys through uploads or notes. The service is intended for adults. We may restrict requests to protect security or service stability.
5. Your uploads and permitted use
Upload only material you own or have permission to submit and allow the selected services to process. You retain any rights you have in your photos and notes. You authorize the limited processing necessary to perform the analysis you request and return the result; these terms do not grant an unrelated advertising or resale license over your uploads. Avoid faces, personal records and third-party confidential information. Do not use the service to forge certificates, misrepresent an object or provenance, facilitate unlawful trade, bypass access controls, attack the service or infringe others’ rights.
6. Analysis and privacy
CuriSnap automatically selects analysis services according to the item category. Your request may include an initial classification and a category-specific assessment using OpenAI or Claude through fal and OpenRouter. These processors are described in the Privacy Policy. Photos are submitted only after your explicit confirmation. Temporary AI failures may be retried through a configured fallback model or processor, including Google Gemini through fal and OpenRouter. Numista catalogue research is added automatically for applicable coins and banknotes.
7. Credits, memberships, cancellations and refunds
CuriSnap offers free access and paid memberships. Purchased credits remain in your account after cancellation; seller tools still require an active membership. Subscriptions renew automatically. To cancel or request a refund, contact support@curisnap.app. Cancellation stops future renewal. Refund requests are reviewed according to applicable law and the checkout terms. Failed report or seller generation returns the credits deducted for that request. Applicable taxes are shown at checkout.
8. Content and intellectual property
CuriSnap branding, interface and original materials are protected to the extent applicable law provides; third-party materials remain subject to their owners’ rights. You may use the service and your reports for lawful research. AI output may resemble other material and may not qualify for exclusive intellectual-property protection. We do not guarantee ownership, originality or non-infringement of generated text. Do not present CuriSnap artwork as documentary evidence or a report as a professional authentication certificate.
9. Availability, responsibility and legal rights
The preview may contain errors, change, become unavailable or lose temporary session data. Keep independent copies of important originals and research. No identification accuracy, market value, sale outcome or continuous availability is guaranteed. Any exclusion or limitation of warranties or liability is subject to applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer protections that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or other non-excludable conduct. No monetary liability cap, mandatory arbitration or class-action waiver is imposed by these terms.
10. Ending access and saved reports
You may stop using the service and sign out at any time. Signing out invalidates the current session and leaves saved reports available for your next sign-in. Delete individual reports in My collection; contact support@curisnap.app for account-data requests. Exports on your device and provider retention are separate. Access may be limited for misuse, maintenance or service capacity. Changes affecting charges, data use or important rights will be communicated appropriately.
11. Disputes and contact
Contact CuriSnap at support@curisnap.app with service concerns. These terms do not designate an exclusive state law, court or dispute-resolution body. Mandatory protections and rights available under applicable law remain unaffected.
