1. About these terms
These English terms describe the intended conditions for using CuriSnap’s website and controlled local Studio preview. CuriSnap is operated by an individual in the United States. Service contact: support@curisnap.app.
2. What CuriSnap provides
The hosted CuriSnap Studio supports photo-based research for antiques, jewelry, coins, ceramics, stones, jade and books. Sign in with Google, submit photos to automatically selected analysis services and receive a private saved report. Coin research can include optional Numista catalogue candidates. Reports can be viewed, downloaded and deleted. A marketplace, paid subscriptions and verified completed-auction sales retrieval are not currently offered. Illustrations and sample reports are clearly separate from analysis of your uploads.
3. Research, not authentication or a formal appraisal
AI may misunderstand an image, overlook a repair, misread an inscription, or generate an incorrect explanation. A photo does not establish authenticity, ownership, lawful provenance, age, first-edition status, certified condition, precious-metal purity, jade composition or gemstone treatment. Reports are research assistance, not certificates or professional advice. No numerical price range is supplied by the live workflow without verified comparable-sale evidence. Seek an appropriately qualified professional for purchases, sales, insurance, tax, estate or other consequential decisions. Do not perform destructive testing or cleaning based on an AI suggestion.
4. Accounts and access
Use a Google account you are authorized to use. Google handles your sign-in credentials; do not share passwords or API keys with CuriSnap through uploads or notes. You are responsible for the security of your own device and account. The controlled local test is intended for adults. We may restrict requests to protect security or service stability. Rate limits and session expiry are not a promise of a permanent allowance, subscription benefit or purchased entitlement.
5. Your uploads and permitted use
Upload only material you own or have permission to submit and allow the selected services to process. You retain any rights you have in your photos and notes. You authorize the limited processing necessary to perform the analysis you request and return the result; these terms do not grant an unrelated advertising or resale license over your uploads. Avoid faces, personal records and third-party confidential information. Do not use the service to forge certificates, misrepresent an object or provenance, facilitate unlawful trade, bypass access controls, attack the service or infringe others’ rights.
6. Analysis and privacy
CuriSnap automatically selects analysis services according to the item category. Your request may include an initial classification and a category-specific assessment using OpenAI or Claude through fal and OpenRouter. These processors are described in the Privacy Policy. Photos are submitted only after your explicit confirmation. Failed requests are not automatically retried through another processor. Optional Numista research requires separate confirmation.
7. Allowances and charges
The current service has no checkout, paid plan or recurring subscription. Each signed-in account can request up to 10 analyses per UTC day, subject to an overall service capacity limit. Failed analyses restore the account allowance. Allowances are not purchased credits and may change with notice. We do not charge your payment account. Before introducing paid features, pricing, cancellation and refund terms will be disclosed separately.
8. Content and intellectual property
CuriSnap branding, interface and original materials are protected to the extent applicable law provides; third-party materials remain subject to their owners’ rights. You may use the service and your reports for lawful research. AI output may resemble other material and may not qualify for exclusive intellectual-property protection. We do not guarantee ownership, originality or non-infringement of generated text. Do not present CuriSnap artwork as documentary evidence or a report as a professional authentication certificate.
9. Availability, responsibility and legal rights
The preview may contain errors, change, become unavailable or lose temporary session data. Keep independent copies of important originals and research. No identification accuracy, market value, sale outcome or continuous availability is guaranteed. Any exclusion or limitation of warranties or liability is subject to applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer protections that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or other non-excludable conduct. No monetary liability cap, mandatory arbitration or class-action waiver is imposed by these terms.
10. Ending access and saved reports
You may stop using the service and sign out at any time. Signing out invalidates the current session and leaves saved reports available for your next sign-in. Delete individual reports in My collection; contact support@curisnap.app for account-data requests. Exports on your device and provider retention are separate. Access may be limited for misuse, maintenance or service capacity. Changes affecting charges, data use or important rights will be communicated appropriately.
11. Governing law, disputes and contact
The operator is an individual in the United States. Contact support@curisnap.app with service concerns. These terms do not designate an exclusive state law, court or dispute-resolution body. Mandatory protections and rights available under applicable law remain unaffected.
